Dubeast

Dubeast è il progetto musicale di Francesco Frasca, nato nel 2016 con l’intento di fondere dub elettronico e influenze siciliane in un sound unico e ipnotico.

Dopo anni di sperimentazione, nel 2017 arriva il primo EP, Blooming on a Barren Ground, realizzato con la produzione di Paolo Baldini DubFiles, figura di riferimento della scena dub italiana. Il disco segna l’inizio di un percorso in continua evoluzione, tra bassi pulsanti e atmosfere dilatate.

Nel 2020 esce Dubious Road, un viaggio sonoro che consolida l’identità di Dubeast, mentre nel 2023 arriva Make Your Bones, un album che amplia il raggio d’azione del progetto, incorporando nuove suggestioni ritmiche e sonore.

Il 2025 segna un punto di svolta con Become The Beast, disco che sancisce l’ingresso di Dubeast nella famiglia di La Tempesta Dub, la sezione dedicata alle vibrazioni in levare dell’etichetta La Tempesta Dischi.

Dubeast è un’esperienza sonora intensa e profonda, in cui il dub incontra la tradizione e la sperimentazione, creando paesaggi sonori densi e immersivi.

Dubeast is the musical project of Francesco Frasca, born in 2016 with the aim of blending electronic dub and Sicilian influences into a unique and hypnotic sound.

After years of experimentation, in 2017, the first EP, Blooming on a Barren Ground, was released, produced by Paolo Baldini DubFiles, a key figure in the Italian dub scene. The record marks the beginning of a continuously evolving journey, characterized by pulsating basslines and expansive atmospheres.

In 2020, Dubious Road was released, a sonic journey that solidifies Dubeast’s identity, followed by Make Your Bones in 2023, an album that expands the project’s scope, incorporating new rhythmic and sonic influences.

The year 2025 marks a turning point with Become The Beast, an album that officially brings Dubeast into the family of La Tempesta Dub, the division of La Tempesta Dischi dedicated to dub vibrations.
