GIALLORENZO come il cognome di un tizio morto anni fa, rimasto in casa propria ben oltre la morte. Si tratta per il resto di una band lo-fi italiana, con del punk rock e delle canzoni.

Nel 2019 hanno fatto quello che Vice definí il miglior disco indie italiano dell’anno, “MILANO POSTO DI MERDA“, una dedica appassionata ai matti della città.

Il proseguo “FIDATY” (2020) ha approfondito la ricetta dell’esordio.

L’ultimo album è “SUPER SOFT RESET” (2022), un disco alt-punk dal cuore cupo e pandemico.

Dopo una pausa dedicata soprattutto ai progetti solisti (CALMI, giovanni pedersini e montag), hanno celebrato i cinque anni del primo album con la stampa in vinile e un tour, accolti calorosamente da un pubblico sempre in crescita.

Il 13 febbraio 2025 escono a sorpresa con il singolo sghembo “PER QUALCOSA O QUALCUNO” e promettono di ritornare con musica inedita per chi nel frattempo continua ad affezionarsi alle loro canzoni rumorose, confuse ed emotivamente appiccicose.

GIALLORENZO—like the surname of a guy who died years ago, lingering in his home well beyond his death. Other than that, they’re an Italian lo-fi band, blending punk rock with raw, unfiltered songwriting.

In 2019, they released what Vice called the best Italian indie album of the year, “MILANO POSTO DI MERDA“, a passionate tribute to the outcasts of the city.

Its follow-up, “FIDATY” (2020), deepened the formula of their debut.

Their latest album is “SUPER SOFT RESET” (2022), an alt-punk record with a dark, pandemic-fueled heart.

After a break dedicated mainly to solo projects (CALMI, giovanni pedersini, and montag), they celebrated the fifth anniversary of their first album with a vinyl release and a tour, warmly welcomed by an ever-growing audience.

On February 13, 2025, they unexpectedly drop the off-kilter single “PER QUALCOSA O QUALCUNO” and promise to return with new music for those who, in the meantime, keep getting attached to their noisy, chaotic, and emotionally sticky songs.
