La Niña

La Niña, nome d’arte di Carola Moccia, è una cantautrice e attrice italiana nata a Napoli nel 1991. Cresciuta a San Giorgio a Cremano in una famiglia profondamente legata all’arte e alla musica, inizia a suonare la chitarra da bambina e si laurea con lode in Filosofia e Storia all’Università Federico II.

Dopo esperienze come chitarrista e vocalist con la band Fitness Forever, e il progetto elettro-pop Yombe (in coppia con il produttore Alfredo Maddaluno, alias KWSK NINJA), nel 2019 Carola intraprende la carriera solista come La Niña, dando voce a una nuova identità artistica che fonde spiritualità mediterranea, musica tradizionale napoletana e attitudine urban.

I suoi primi tre singoli da solista — Croce (giugno 2019), Niente cchiù (settembre 2019) e Salomè (dicembre 2019) — sono stati pubblicati da La Tempesta Dischi, e hanno segnato l’inizio di un percorso originale e visionario nel panorama musicale italiano.

Successivamente firma con Sony Music Italy, pubblicando nel 2021 l’EP EDEN, cui seguono altri lavori, tra cui l’album VANITAS (2023) e il singolo Guapparìa (2025). Oltre alla musica, La Niña affianca un’intensa attività teatrale e televisiva, recitando accanto a Massimo Ranieri nella serie La voce che hai dentro (Canale 5, 2023).

La Niña, born Carola Moccia, is a singer-songwriter and actress from Naples, Italy. Raised in a family deeply rooted in music and the arts, she began playing guitar as a child and later earned a degree with honors in Philosophy and History from the University of Naples Federico II.

After early experiences as guitarist and vocalist with the band Fitness Forever, and as part of the electro-pop duo Yombe (with producer Alfredo Maddaluno, aka KWSK NINJA), she launched her solo project La Niña in 2019. Her artistic voice blends Mediterranean mysticism, traditional Neapolitan melodies, and contemporary urban sounds.

Her first three solo singles — Croce (June 2019), Niente cchiù (September 2019), and Salomè (December 2019) — were released by the independent label La Tempesta Dischi, and laid the foundation for her visionary and original path in Italian music.

In 2021 she signed with Sony Music Italy and released the EP EDEN, followed by the album VANITAS in 2023 and the single Guapparìa in 2025. Alongside her music career, La Niña also acts, appearing with Massimo Ranieri in the TV series La voce che hai dentro (2023, Canale 5).
