Unravel is dedicated to a close friend of Guinevere’s who committed suicide five years ago.
A few months after his death, Guinevere meets her friend in a dream, he sings her a melody and some parts of the lyrics, asking her to wake up and write it down, otherwise, she would have forgotten it when she woke up. In the dream, they dance on rocks near the sea and sing that melody together, until Guinevere decides to say goodbye and wake up to write the song.
The melody leaned on some classical guitar arpeggios that Guinevere’s father had written when he was in his twenties and played for her two years before that night and then never again. 

From the musical encounter between Guinevere and her father, who has always been a supporter and collaborator in his daughter’s musical project, Unravel was created.
Unravel represents for the artist a place-non-place rather than just a song, a timeless dimension between earth and sky in which she can meet her lost friend and share their strong bond in remembrance.
